How difficult is it to build a kit greenhouse?

BC Greenhouses are built for North American climates with aluminum and high-quality glazing. While this isn't your standard furniture build, we do provide comprehensive instructions to help you get through the process smoothly.

Difficulty Level

We are often asked this question - how difficult is it really?  Our greenhouses are designed for the average homeowner to build and about 85% of our greenhouses are built by either the customer or the customer's local handyman.

Time Spent

Our 8X12 glass greenhouse would take two people a weekend to build. We provide you written instructions and have video tutorials available upon request. We have a team of people here to support you through the installation and with our modern technology it's so much easier. You can send photos if you get stuck or even video chat with us so we can troubleshoot with you.

Our greenhouses are not IKEA builds. You will need a screwdriver, a tape measure and there is no allen key to be found anywhere. Give yourself time and have some extra manpower and you'll be just fine.
