A few tips to maintain heat in the greenhouse:

In the colder months – heat only what you need. An energy curtain across the bench will keep the lower half toasty warm.

Bubble wrap – Line the interior walls for added insulation.

Black barrels – create a thermal heat sync by filling black rain barrels with water. It will heat up during the day and release the warmth at night.

    What has worked for you?

    Hi there,
can you explain what you mean by an energy curtain?
I want to heat my greenhouse this year, and wondering what im in for cost wise.. want to do what i can to minimize heating costs.

Also, if im going to heat the greenhouse.. seems like there are small openings at bottom of windows for condensation to drain out.. however i assume i would lose heat here, is this true? Should i put some foam there or something to prevent heat loss?

Im also going to be working with an inexpensive heating controller from Inkbird. Google it, kinda neat.

    Tom
