The Story of BC Greenhouse Builders
BC Greenhouse Builders Ltd. was incorporated in 1951. Henry Heinen, employed with the company since 1959, purchased the company in 1972 with his wife Greta. With Henry’s expertise in design and manufacturing, he endeavored to create the highest quality greenhouses called Cross Country Greenhouses. Henry and Greta’s son Rick now leads the company into new markets with innovative designs while continuing the legacy of a quality made product.
What makes us different?
We understand that it can be challenging to see quality online when it comes to greenhouses. We are North American made, maintenance free and designed so that the average homeowner can modify the greenhouse in any way and build it too!
Why should you choose Cross Country Greenhouses?
Our greenhouses are passed down through generations of family members and we are very proud of that. Our structures are typically 30-50% heavier than our competition and designed to handle the heaviest winds and snow loads (85mph and 32psf). You can put a 50 pound hanging basket on every roof bar! Simply put, this greenhouse will not blow over in the wind or degrade after only a few years.
As a long time family business, we believe that quality counts and that great customer service still means something. We love to talk to people about their plans for a greenhouse! Call us today at 1-888-391-4433.
